Our little community was forged across the globe by those of us who jumped into the world wide web.
Through the years, a number of sites emerged.... some stayed, some fell away.
And then, a whole new brand emerged - social media sites.

Probably the first site I remember finding on the internet belongs to Åke Holm in Sweden. A very extensive discography of not only Mr. B., but people he performed with.
His website also contains sections on memorabilia, videos, and books, etc.

Another long-standing site - in Japan, Haruo Funatsu first saw a Belafonte concert on TV when he was 10.
And live the next time he came to Japan. And like many of us - showed up to every concert he could after that.

A Discography of Original Recordings - The Musical Legacy of Harry Belafonte
Our friend Albert put an incredible amount of work into this site - which, according to the WayBackMachine was active from 2001 to 2022. It disappeared when the internet provider that hosted the site went out of business.
But I am honoured to say that the plan is to relocate all his work here - under our Canadian Tribute banner.

There are a few other sites I feel I should mention from way-back-when...
- If you looked up Mr. B. between, oh, 1998 and 2010-ish, my site would have been very close if not at the the top of the Google list. It was called in part, a-site-of-sites - simply, links to many others. I lost the domain name accidentally through a series of mishaps on my and my service-provider's side. What can I say - the internet was young.
- There was one from France - I think by a woman named Marie-France? Lost contact a long time ago, but if anyone knows anything, would be appreciated!
- and Frédérique Roberge (1927-2015) was a dedicated Mr. B follower - and I remember, quite a poet. She maintained a tribute site about Mr. B. on WebTV. Her passion ran deep.

And then there is YouTube - and Menno's collection of the best of the best...
Hard to imagine so many years ago that all this wonderfulness would be out there one day to simply click on. Seriously.... if you haven't been there, GET!

The tagline says that this YouTube channel is "HarryBelafonteOffficial"
My best guess is that it is/was managed by son David, set up when When Colours Come Together CD was released in 2017.
A little more active than the YouTube channel, Harry Belafonte Official Facebook Page

Not quite a "playlist" - but titled "Harry Belafonte on the Ed Sullivan Show"
Almost twenty videos posted here. Performances include "Try to Remember", "In My Father's House", "The Baby Boy", "Water Boy", "Windin Road", "Look Over Yonder/Be My Woman", "Shake That Little Foot", "Jamaica Farewell", "Scarlett Ribbons"....
